Joanna has more than 20 years of experience working in the interior design, home décor, and custom remodeling industries. She is a Certified Interior Design Professional and a Certified Staging Expert with a BA from Loyola University Chicago. She was drawn into the captivating world of interior design from the moment she set foot in The Merchandise Mart where she worked for seven years publicizing its trade and consumer shows.

From there she honed her design expertise representing clients including the American Society of Interior Designers-IL Chapter, local flooring companies, luxury lighting manufacturers, kitchen and bath firms, custom home builders, real estate agents, and independent residential designers. 

Joanna launched Edit Interiors to continue her passion for working one-on-one with homeowners to deliver upscale design and sophisticated style no matter the size, scope or budget of their project. Her favorite part of being a designer is her clients’ appreciation and genuine happiness at seeing their transformed spaces. When she is not helping others beautify their homes, Joanna loves spending time with her husband and two sons, getting together with family and friends, taking long walks outside, and playing pickleball.
